i want to know the best books which i should do for whole iit jee preparation
for physics i have
1.HC verma
2.Halliday resnick Walker
3.IE Irodov
which other book i should take? are dc pandey books good? should i take them also
for chemistry i have taken only rc mukerjee for physical chemistry
which books should i take ? do not give a list of books ? tell only the best books OP agaarwal is suggested by many ? is it really good
for maths i have not taken any book just doing ncert

H C Verma is good for Mechanics. D C Pandey is best for part-2. Prefer Irodov after getting thorough with it.

that's true, IRODOV is good book.
Bt that's also true that IRODO's level of question now-a days do
not come in IIT jee
To add to what the other guys have added, I'd say that the NCERT book is fine, but not enough for preparing for JEE maths. TMH, ML Khanna and AD Gupta are good choices - they should cover the concepts required.

i've scored not so much in class Xth examination because i was

iit pattern is changing .. its becoming objective evry year ..so one should preffer s.k. goyal and a das gupta for mathematics …….. hc verma and dc pandey subjective for physics…………and p bahadur and r.k amit arihant subjective …….. one must join any test series or ranker study material also..

well!!i wabted to ask are tutions or coaching are necessary for cracking competitive exams as in my area in pilani ,no coaching centres are present…..so is it necessary that i struggle and get coaching..or self study will do.though i believe so but then also i 'm not sure

I think dc pandey and ashish arora are more useful than hc verma as this book does not contain the variety and standard questions as these book
H C Verma is useful as its conceptual part is very good as compared to all other books.
dude ask any iitian they will suggest u to use only h c verma and complete it properly because it doesn't have much of the objective questions dsnt mean its nt gud it is the best book in physics for all entrances.my own physics teacher is an iitian from iit madras nd he told us dat during his preparation he only solved h c verma nd dat its d best so when u dnt knw abt thgs properly then shut ur mouth nd dnt give stupid suggestions
