Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE) is one of the most prestigious and toughest exams of the country. The exam is generally taken by those candidates who want to take admission in IITs of the country. This year the IIT-JEE entrance exam will be held on 8th April, 2012. Every year lakhs of students appeared in this exam to secure their seat in IITs. For IIT-JEE 2012 entrance exam the registration process has already started. Those students who want to fill the registration form online can fill registration form by visiting their official website. But those students who want to apply offline need to wait a bit more as the offline registration process for IIT-JEE will begin from 11th November, 2011. The last date to fill the registration form through offline mode is 15th December, 2011
All those students who want to take admission in leading IITs of the country need to take this test. To fill the form for IIT-JEE 2012 you need to follow the procedure of registration.
A candidate can register Offline using the Optical Machine Readable (OMR) Application Form which can be obtained by cash purchase from bank branches from 11 November, 2011.
Candidates who belong to General Category and OBC male category need to pay Rs. 1800 for registration form.
Candidates who belong to SC/ST/PD Category male candidates need to pay Rs. 1000 for registration form.
All female candidates can buy the registration form by paying just Rs. 200 at the respective bank branch.

Start of Offline OMR Application Forms sale at Bank Branch: 11th November, 2011
Last date of Offline OMR Application Forms sale: 5th December, 2011
Last date of receipt completed IIT-JEE 2012 Application Form: 15th December, 2011
IIT-JEE 2012 examination day: 8th April, 2012
Declaration of Results: 18th May, 2012
