depends on which course u wanna pursue. one must take care of the fact that its iit and there is usually no up gradation in the second counseling. if u are a good student and strongly willing to pursue your course then u can do exceptionally well anywhere and reach heights in life. i got electronic at iit guwahati. I want to take a chance in

u hve to pay fees online only before 28 june….otherwise ur seat
will be denied and will not be consideredfor 2nd counselling…..u
just hve to pay the fees before 28th…..rest is on software…..it
does not depend on whether u want to go for 2nd round or not…by
paying the fees u will automatically be considerd for 2nd round…u
will get the choice of higher prefrence only if some student from
those choices does not pay the fees..else it will be same…
but ECE@IIT GUWAHATI/ EEE@IIT g are
very very very very good branches….
