during the paddling of bicycle the force of friction exerted by the ground on the wheel is such that it acts in backward direction on the front wheel and in the forward direction on the rear wheel.explain?

    when the front wheel is exerting some force on ground then only friction wiil be acting now it is actig in backward direction because friction forces are the forces which opposes motion so if the wheel is moving in forward direction then thefriction force will be in backward direction and vice versa

    during the motion of bicycle in rear wheel frictional force is in backward as pt. of contact try to be in contact of surface of ground so fs balance the backward motion to keep pt. of contact in touch nd same concept fr front wheel
