A spot light rotates in a vertical plane with a constant angular speed of 0.1 rad/sec. The spot of light moves along the wall at the distance of 3m. What is the velocity of the spot P, when angle of rotation is 45 degrees? {given ans (0.6 m/s)}

    y = D tanα Speed v = dy/dt = D sec2α dα/dt = D sec2α ω = 3 (sec245) 0.1 = 0.6 m/sec
