conics (Question)

The jee syllabus for mathematics includes equations of conic sections in their standard form. Does this mean that we don’t have to worry about these equations in their general form though a lot of books talk about them?

    NO I DON’T THINK SO .THE CHAPTER IS PRETTY INTERRELATED THE KNOWLEDGE GAINED CAN AND WILL BE USED INTHE LATER CHAPTER .MOREOVER IT IS ONE OF THE FAVOURITES OF JEE.
