preparation of jee (Discussion)

simran chandel saidMon, 08 Jun 2009 06:31:57 -0000 ( Link )

i am a student of class 12 from a reputed(regular) school. i am desperate to crack iit jee and also feel that i have the caliber to do so. But i could not join any coaching in class 11 due to certain reasons. Is it possible to make through jee without joining any coaching and by preparing for it at home side by side with 12 board?

    don’t worry, you’re not the only one in that situation. it’s very similar to mine. there are a lot of correspondence courses for students of class XII. you’ll need to put in a lot of work and to keep yourself motivated and determined… it’s easy to get fed up

    hi simran,

    self study for iit jee is a little tricky proposition – given the amount of studies required for school, etc, time becomes a rare commodity;

    i would suggest that you opt for correspondence courses and a couple of all india test series – they will help you understand how you will fare vis-a-vis the competition;

    most of india’s top coaching institutes offer correspondence courses – i would suggest that you have a look at the material by borrowing it from a friend or a senior for a couple of days; you can choose the ones you find most helpful;

    all the best!
