I hav a problem regarding the following questions of probablity:

Q.1 A bag contains 5 balls & of these it is equally likely that 0,1,2,3,4,5 are white.A ball is drawn & is found to be white. The probability that only one ball is white is: (a)1/13 (b)1/30 (c)1/15 (d)1/8

Q.2 A player throw an ordinary die with faces numbered 1 to 6 ,whenever he throws 1, he has a further throw.Find the probability of getting a total score of 5 or 8?

Q.3 A die is loaded so that the chance of throwing 1 is x/4,that of 2 is 1/4 & of 6 is (1-x)/4.The chance of a 3,4 or a 5 is 1/6.The die is thrown twice. The chance of throwing a total of 7 is: (a) (9x-9x2+10)/72 (b) (9x2-9x+10)/72 (c) (9x-10)/72 (d) (9x^2-10)/72

Q.4 Numbers 1,2,3…....2n are printed on 2n cards.The probability of drawing a number r is proportional to r.Then the probability of drawing an even number in 1 draw is: (a) (n+2)/(n+3) (b) (n+1)/(n+3) (c)1/2 (d) (n+1)/(2n+1) Q.5 2 cards are randomly selected from a deck of 52 playing cards.The probability that both cards are greater than 3 & less than 8 is: (a) 16/169 (b) 81/169 (c)20/221 (d)45/221

Q.6 There are 5 pairs of shoes in a cupboard from which 4 shoes are picked at random. The probability that there is at least 1 pair is: (a)8/21 (b)11/21 (c)13/21 (d) 12/31
